Headin' down to Atlanta tonight for Saturday's game.  I'm going with 3 VT fans and another Bama fan (my daughter).  The VT fan riding with me is in a no win situation.  He has to listen to my mouth the entire trip if Bama wins, or find himself stranded in Atlanta with no ride back if Bama loses.

This is the first Bama game I've attended since the 1993 Souther Miss game and I'm super excited.  I can't wait to start yelling Rammer Jammer and Roll Tide Roll.

Good article in The Huntsville Times about the University's appeal of the NCAA's "irrational," arbitrary," and "Orwellian" sanctions.

The gist of it is that 4 other programs committed the same infractions but did not have to vacate wins.  The 4 were cited for the more serious "lack of institutional control" and not the lesser "failure to monitor" for which the University was cited.
